Options Communication Therapy Centre is looking for another speech pathologist to join the team and respond to the constant demand for services for people with complex communication needs. Options offers direct therapy support to families in the Brisbane area but also families who live regionally, interstate and overseas. Clients are predominantly people who have complex communication needs arising from acquired or developmental problems and giving rise to conditions such as autism, learning disability, dyspraxia and language disorder. The current team of therapists have extensive experience and share their skills in the support of clients in direct contact support, and for workshop training.
This position is fee-for-service as determined by credentials and expertise. Weekdays and/or alternate Saturdays are available and primarily at the Petrie clinic.

Qualifications Mandatory
Registered by the Speech Pathology Board of Queensland
Additional Qualifications Considered
AAC training i.e. FCT; Makaton; Auslan; PECS; Cued Articulation;
Language development training i.e. Hanen
Special needs training i.e. Social Stories; Autism; ABI
Contract Details
The fee for service will range from 40 -55% depending on experience and skills in the field of work.
A three month probationary period will be offered followed by a 12 month contract.
In house and external training will be offered to ensure equity of therapy tools in the workplace.
